Lakeside High School Varsity's Mirabal Throws No-Hitter to Defeat Tucker

Sara Mirabal was brilliant in the circle on Monday, as she threw a no-hitter to lead Lakeside High School Varsity past Tucker 17-2. Lakeside High School Varsity didn't take the lead until later in the game. Prissy Alviarez drew a walk, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the first inning, Tucker tied things up at two when Tucker scored one run on a stolen base.

Lakeside High School Varsity pulled away for good with 14 runs in the second inning. In the second Alviarez drew a walk, scoring one run, Reagan Greene drew a walk, scoring one run, Brady Miccichi drew a walk, scoring one run, Mack Blair singled on a 3-0 count, scoring three runs, Mirabal singled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs, Flora induced Sibley Durisch to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Miccichi doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs, and Mirabal grounded out, scoring one run. Mirabal was the winning pitcher for Lakeside High School Varsity. She lasted three innings, allowing zero hits and two runs while striking out three. Flora took the loss for Tucker. She went three innings, allowing 15 runs on seven hits.

*Lakeside High School Varsity Drops Game to Dunwoody After Late Score

Lakeside High School Varsity lost the lead late in an 18-9 defeat to Dunwoody on Wednesday. The game was tied at nine with Dunwoody batting in the bottom of the fifth when Gracie Puckett grounded out, scoring one run. Lakeside High School Varsity collected 14 hits and Dunwoody had nine in the high-scoring affair. Maddie Lucius was the winning pitcher for Dunwoody. She allowed 11 hits and nine runs over four and a third innings, striking out seven and walking one. Chiang threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen. Sara Mirabal took the loss for Lakeside High School Varsity. She went five innings, allowing 18 runs on nine hits and striking out one.

Lakeside’s JV Grabs Lead in Third Inning to Defeat Clarkston

Lakeside Vikings JV took the lead late in the game in an 11-3 victory over Clarkston on Wednesday. The game was tied at two with Lakeside Vikings JV batting in the bottom of the third when Avary Simpson singled on a 3-0 count, scoring one run.

Lakeside Vikings JV secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the third inning. Lakeside Vikings JV batters contributing to the big inning included Simpson, Taliyah Williams, Kate Haynes, Kadence Smith, Sophia Gallo, and Claire Binger, all driving in runs in the frame.
Gallo led the Lakeside Vikings JV to victory in the pitcher's circle. She surrendered two runs on one hit over three innings, striking out five and walking one.
