Following graduation, I moved to Atlanta where I met my wife, Julie. We have been married and living in the Lakeside District for over 18 years. We have two daughters: Caitlyn, a freshman at the University of Georgia, and Porter, a sophomore at LakesidE HS.
- My mission as a coach is to challenge the student athlete to be successful in all that she does, both on and off the field. I expect my student athletes to bring a professional approach to their preparation. In return, I work tirelessly to make the game of softball fun and rewarding. I treat all student athletes with respect and dignity, while placing a high value on their character. As a coach, it is my responsibility to give each student athlete every opportunity to grow and develop as a player and as a person.

- Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.
Sometimes you’re unscathed and sometimes you bruise.
Sometimes you strike out and sometimes you hit.
Sometimes you’re starting and sometimes you sit.
Sometimes you fail and sometimes you pass.
But no matter the outcome, you do it with class.
