Early Lead for Chamblee Seals Fate for Lakeside

The Lakeside Varsity fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 14-1 loss to Chamblee on Monday. Chamblee scored on a double by Senior Margaret Axelson and a groundout by Shea Parker in the first inning.  Axelson was in the circle for Chamblee only allowing 3 hits and one run while striking out seven with no walks.
Lakeside Freshman Molly McHoul went three innings on the rubber allowing 11 hits and striking out two.  Emmaline Crittenden went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead the Lakeside Vikings in hits.
